Heading North on the Maine Turnpike, take exit 75 (formerly exit12) Auburn. Follow Rt. 4 North all the way to Rangeley, approximately ninety miles. Note: Midway between Auburn and Rangeley you will find the town of Farmington. This is your last chance for fast food or department stores. You can then continue along Rt. 4 North approximately forty miles to Rangeley. Approximately thirty miles out of Farmington on Rt.4 you will see a large Sandy River Plantation sign. Watch out for moose!

From that sign, you have approximately nine miles to go. When nearing the end of the nine miles, watch for a turn on the left on South Shore Drive. Turn left on South Shore Drive and continue approximately one mile, where you will see green signs on the right for "Sam-O-Set Four Seasons" and "Rangeley Lake Guide Service". Meadowood Cabin is just ahead, at the top of the hill- the first driveway on the left. You can see the cabin from the road. Click here for printable directions.
